I'm searching a validated protocol to obtain cortical neurons from iPSC.
The ideal for me is to have the whole protocol to obtain cortical neurons starting from PBMCs with iPSC passage. Thanks to everybody.

Going from somatic cell, to ipsc, to neuron is a long process with many steps. If this is your first time i would potentially recommend visiting a lab with experience in these techniques first.
However resources wise:
iPSC generation - I have successfully used Okita et al, 2012. Uses episomes and nucleofection to create iPSCs.

While 2D cortical neuron generation I have used Shi et al, 2012. Allows for good volumes of cortical neurons to be produced via the dual SMAD inhibition method.
