I have a working electrode composed of deposited graphene material (confirmed from Raman). The graphene is porous and has deposited Pd nanoparticles. I am trying to perform hydrogen underpotential deposition to quantify how much Pd is present. I have tried using triton x-100 as a surfactant to ensure the H2SO4 wets the graphene (and penetrates the pores). However it seems to negatively affect the HUPD. Does anyone know what I can add to the H2SO4 to make the graphene hydrophilic?
