Does amelanotic B16-F10 cells give rise to black toumour nodles when injected in mice?

I am culturing B16-F10 cells in RPMI as these cells tend to die when cultured in DMEM high glucose. When cultured in RPMI, cells are amelanotic. If I inject these amelanotic cells in vivo (i.v.), can I still observe black nodules in the lung? In other words, the environment in the mouse makes the cells to produce melanin again?
