Does anybody have any experience with cells detaching from Lab-Teks and how to deal with it? In one of our experiments we are not able to use gelatin or anything else. In other experiment we are using Matrigel and still the cells are not attached properly. We see the problem with the material itself as it is glass. Do you have any suggestions? I was thinking of scratching the surface somehow, do you think it would help? Or do you know about some type of Lab-Teks with high adherent surface? Thank you for all your suggestions.

could you make your problem more specific with what cell type and why the Lab-Tek glass surface would not be coated with gelatin? Are you sure? From what you said, it's hard to give any advice. Please give some more specifc problem you came across with cells, gelatin used, exactly the way you coated gelatin on the glass surface etc. Then everyone can give tons of advice to solve it.
