Does anyone know a commercial available and inexpensive protein that does not contain disulfide bonds?
Any cytosolic or nuclear enzyme should be disulfide-free. That includes DNA and RNA polymerases, histones (http://www.worthington-biochem.com/H/default.html), and metabolic enzymes such as alcohol dehydrogenase (http://www.worthington-biochem.com/ADH/cat.html), and lactate dehydrogenase (http://www.worthington-biochem.com/LDH/default.html).
If its critical that no disulfide bonds be present, reduce and alkylate gelatin.
We've used recombinant protein G in the past, which has no cysteines. (http://www.prospecbio.com/Protein_G_10_174)
I believe lysozyme and calmodulin are two other inexpensive proteins without cysteine.

Hen egg white lysozyme does contain disulfides: http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P00698
as does human lysozyme:

though T7 lysozyme does not:

And Ken Halvorsen's comment reminds me that staphylococcal protein A, which is widely available, also lacks disulfides.
One important issue is whether the protein needs to be disulfide-free or completely cysteine-free.
