4-week-old soil grown Arabidopsis plants brought under salt and drought stress for two weeks. Plants under salt stress with sodium chloride have less chlorophyll b content as compared to chlorophyll a. But under drought stress I found higher chlorophyll b content than chlorophyll a content. Kindly comment and suggest the possible reasons for higher chlorophyll b content under drought stress.
