Can I reach a concentration/number of 5x10^7 cells from pbmc's using this kit?

The answer is NO and here is why.
The CD133+ cells in peripheral blood have been reported to range from ~0.02-0.1% of the WBC. So lets split the difference and use 0.05%.
So (X)(0.05%)=5x10E7; 0.05%/100%=0.0005
(X)(0.0005)=5x10E7
X=5x10E7/0.0005=1x10E11 cells. This is the number of wbc you need to start with!
The normal wbc range from 5000-10,000 cell/ul. Lets use 5000 wbc/ul
(5000wbc/ul) X (1000 ul/ml)=5x10E6 wbc/ml
so (1x10E11 cells)/5x10E6 wbc/ml)= 20000ml/(1000ml/l)=20L of blood needed !!
so you cannot get 5xE7 cd133+ cells from the peripheral blood.
Please check calculations.
