My field of interest here is operating systems and software packaging, not drug discovery specifically, so I will comment from that point of view.
The page claims you were initially basing on Ubuntu platform, and now you are extending to other platforms. I'm wondering if you have plans to extend support to Debian platform, and additionally to submit the work you have done for inclusion in official Debian repositories. This would be very interesting since it would allow basically anyone with Debian system to install your packages without adding any additional repositores.
Thanks for your kind input, our aim is to provide both for Debian and Fedora bases. We have already created debian pacakges (.deb )for most of software. LiveDVD/USB we are only planing for Ubuntu as we have some issues in creating LiveDVD for other operating systems like Redhat/CentOS/Fedora/Debian. For installing OSDDlinux on existing systems we are crating .deb and RPM packages that will allow users of OS based on Debian or Fedora.
I hope by this time some of members of forum have tried OSDDlinux, if you have tried osddlinux, may I know your comment on osddlinux.
