Can tissue lyser be used for release of curcumin from dry tissue matrix?

Tisse lysers are widely used for release of DNA and RNA from the sample material. Can this be used to extend the release of curcumin in to the solvent, which helps us speedy assessment of curcumin content in the sample? Further, we have to use a solvent like acetone during the process. Does it harm the equipment in use such as qiagen Tissuelyser?
