In the dot plot the dead cell population is distributed in the upper left and upper right quadrant. What does it mean when the cells population cloud is extended from the upper right to upper left quadrant?
Usually, cells go thru different stages during apoptosis; some of them can be detected employing the Annexin V-PI strategy, and they usually are not visualized as totally separated populations. Nevertheless, it is impossible to determine which is your case, without at least knowing how you are performing your experiment and plotting your acquired cells.
