Can someone provide me with a link explaining single-stranded site-directed mutagenesis? How is single-stranded plasmid made and introduced and how is that used as a template to perform different sorts of mutagenesis?

You may be thinking of Kunkel mutagenesis, which has largely been superseded by PCR-based methods.
