I found that there are two pKa values of sodium bicarbonate i.e 6.4 and 10.3. So can I take sodium bicarbonate to prepare buffer solutions of pH values around 6.4 and 10.3? Please suggest me.
we have Ksp for CaCO3, but have Ka1 and Ka2 for H2CO3, if you want to compare pH of CaCO3 with solution of pH around 6.4 and 10.3, you have to know the concentration of Ca2+, and then you can calculate the pH of CaCO3 precipitate and compare.
