Dear Colleagues

I am interested in evaluating the concentration of SERUM succinate dehydrogenase in a certain type of cancer. I found an ELISA kit for it however, I can barely find any papers measuring it in serum, but rather mostly in tissues.

With my research, tissue sample from patients are not feasible, only blood. Is there any problem if I assayed it in blood? Can anyone help me in this point please?
