most of the time heavy metal ion solutions are sterilized by membrane filtration. Is there any possibility of changing oxidation state if they sterilized by autoclave due to high pressure or temperature?

If you autoclave your heavy metal solutions they can precipitate which is why you should sterilize them by filtration.

Thank you for your answers, for my works I was sterilized solution by membrane filtration. But one article I found, mentioned in their methodology they were autoclaved for sterilization. That'swhy I want to clarify.I'm not a good chemist so thank you all for your support given to clarify things.
