Can cell pellet be stored at -80C after subjecting to stress?

I am studying effect of stress on protein-protein interaction. For that control cells are stored at -80C without any stress.

However, Before performing protein purification, Can cells be stored at -80 C after subjecting to Oxidative stress? Or Cells should be stored without any stress condition, thawed and then subjected to Stress? Will storage (after stress) effect the interaction study?

No I am not planning to assess Oxidative stress as such but effects of it on the interaction of protein.
