Beta-actin is up-regulated during LPS stimulation, and I can't seem to find any consistent proof of a HKP that works in RAW cells. We need a good normalizer for western blot analysis.
I don't have any literature to back this up (sorry!), but if actin/tubulin don't work for a tissue, my lab usually defaults to Na+/K+ ATPase for WB normalization.
Try HSC70 from santa cruz at 1:5000. I tested in cells and various tissues ( muscle, heart and tumor) from both rats and mice. Its expression is stable and could be a good load control for your experiments
In my lab we commonly used alpha-tubulin and GAPDH as load controls besides beta-actin, and we used this cell line as a contrast for immune modulation through TLRs so you may want to try any of those two.
