We want to transfect leukemic cells KG1a and K562 with a plasmid DNA by electroporation. We are looking for commercially available electroporation buffer, can anybody recommend some good buffers?
Also, if there is a need of preparation of electroporation buffer in the lab, please tell us the widely and effectively used recipe for preparation of electroporation buffer?

For Jurkat cell line, which is also leukemic but might differ from you cell lines, RPMI + 10% FBS work great for electroporation. Make sure there are no antibiotics left, washing cells with RPMI (no need for serum at this stage) a couple of times will solve a problem if you are using any antibiotics in you growth media.
