I performed 2DE for 4 samples and got 4 gels. I tried to color the spots in these different gels using photoshop cc software, but I could not save the colored file later. Can anyone help me color each of these gels with a different color and send the file back to me?
ImageJ would be good to use for this. It's free from the NIH. I'm assuming your images are in grayscale. First you'll have to open them, click on the Image tab, then change the Type to RGB Color. Then click the Image tab again and Adjust the Color Balance. You can save your files, make stacks and merge them. Here's the link: http://rsbweb.nih.gov/ij/download.html

I am trying to summarize the steps you need to take to get a color images for the files you shared .
1. Open individual files using photoshop
2. Go to Image>mode and select RGB
3. Go to Image>adjustments>color balance (or other color options you prefer)
4. save the images in the present format
It worked fine for me when I tried this procedure with the files you shared.
Just to give you an idea I am sending back those files as pdf with pseudo color added. Is this something you want to get?
