i would be thankful if some one could explain the boundary condition applied in the attached picture,,,,i dont understand the clamped boundary condition that is used in the figure
Clamped, at least in the context of plates, tends to mean that the rotation along the edge of the plate is restrained. It might also mean that the transverse displacement is also restrained.
in figure two there is also an applied load in the x direction applied to the plates ,,,,so it means all other degree of freedom are zero except in the x-direction in which force is applied,,,correct me if i m wrong thank u
