I am trying to run a restart analysis, which imports deformed configurations of parts from a generated ODB file. It runs fine in Windows OS but when I try to run it in Linux OS, it is giving some errors, as attached. The command line I am using to run in both OS is "abaqus input= job= cpus= double interactive" The command line for importing the deformed configurations of the parts are included in input file . I am unable to solve it. Seeking help badly.
Read the error. You are using non-ASCII name for a constant (on line 92 in symbolicConstants.py), which some systems cannot handle. I suggest you avoid such variable names in programming in general, even though support for them is increasing.
Yes, I got your point. But this symbolicConstants.py is some inbuilt Python code in Abaqus, which is, I think, inaccessible by the user. Tomáš Létal
Do you use some names with special characters in your code/analysis? It is possible that the source of the problem is not in symbolicConstants.py, but in your variable name and the error is raised only when this name is processed in some function from symbolicConstants.py.
