I know that some pores created in mammalian cell membranes are permanent (like those created by lysolecithin), and that some are temporary (like those created by some saponins).
Can anyone tell me about the pores created by non-ionic detergents like Nonidet P-40, Triton X-100, Brij 35, Tween 20 etc?

I thought that depends of the concentration of the detergent that you use. Here in my lab, we work with vesicles that ressemble of the bacterial or mammalian membranes (GUV's-LUV's) and when we apply SDS 1% (in calcein leakage experiments), the pore formed it's stable through the time.
In the case of non-ionic detergent, it depends of the intractions that creates with the membrane (mayoritarity, van der Waals interactions i think) so i would tell that yes, the pores formed are stable in time because It can form micelles (to [ ] over the critical micellar concentration) and disrupt the membrane.
