Anybody tried yeast DNA purification kit for fungal (Alternaria, Aspergillus etc.,) DNA isolation? What happens when we do that?

I just want to know anyone tried a yeast DNA purification kit for common fungal pathogens DNA purification, if so can you please enlighten whether it works or not?
