Can anybody recommend an antibody that works well to detect FLAG-tagged protein in mice with flow cytometry? I am considering to use FLAG tag for generating a transgenic mouse. HIS tag antibodies only worked for transfected cultured cells but gave awful background once we tried to detect the tagged protein after injecting the tagged protein.

I tried using anti FLAG from Abcam for flow cytometry but I had no success because I also had a lot of background (eventhough Abcam says the Ab is suitable for flow). Maybe if you use an anti FLAG already conjugated (Sigma has a FITC Ab) it might work better.
