I'm studying apoptosis induction and cell cycle arrest for différent cancer cell lines . i'm working in a lab we dont have celle culture facilités. Can we study apoptosis induction with other alternative models? And what about cytotoxic activity, cell cycle arrest and molecular mechanisms?

For example, the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans is a beautiful model system for the elucidation of apoptosis pathways. Please have a look at the attached publication if you would like to know more.

You can also use human fresh peripheral blood leukocytes to study apoptosis induction.
