HSC are Cryopreserved. After thawing, HSC are used directly or culture on SFEM for a while before bone marrow transplantation（human HSC to mice）？

Does Cryopreserving affect the activity of HSC.

I thaw rapidly with 37C medium. Then spin down once to concentrate and remove DMSO, then suspend in PBS with some BSA or FBS and keep on ice for injection. Culture is not needed.
