Today I want to get confirmed about my way of cell caring.
I usually keep my cell culture tools(culture dishes, well plates, etc) in stack vertically in incubator in both cases below.
1) Cells unattached just after splitting
2) Cells attached to the bottoms
For example, After I seed cells from big dish to several new dishes, I
put these new dishes in stack vertically in incubator and also keep them in stack after cells are attached in incubator.
I think that the cells even in different
floors in such stack can be considered to be in sampe passage number
and in same condition if all these cells are passaged from old culture tools
of same specific cell passage number or same specific culture tool.
I want to ask whether my opinion is correct.

Many cells are well kept at a temperature 4C.1-2 day. Sow the cells in flask but transfer to the incubator for another day or two.
