Has anyone experienced any problems by mixing supplements?
For example, the cell line is from ATCC and the supplement is from Sigma.
HUVECS (ATCC), ECGS (SIGMA), HEPARIN (NACALI TESQUE).
I don't think it should be a problem as the constituents will be the same although the supplements come from different companies!
I never had problems by using supplements from different companies. As Ramya Chandrasekaran wrote, the constituents are expected to be the same.
Only serum acquired from different companies would give you different cell responses.
There shouldn't be any changes to the cell line as the constituents contained within the supplements should be the same.
thank you everyone.
Currently im doing the cell viability test for 24h, 48h and 72h. On the 24h plate, the reading appeared confusing same as 48h plate. I have 7 extracts concentrations, 0.001%, 0.01%, 0.1%, 2%, 4%,...
