i'm preparing RIPA buffer using the following recipe:
NaCl 5M
Tris-HCL 1M
sodium depxycholate 10%
SDS 10%
only the NaCl was cloudy solution, I've prepared it by weighting: 29.1g NaCl + 100 ml D.W
and still after days of preparation cloudy without any precipitate
dose this normal ?? if not, did affect on the extraction method ?? how i fix it ? or it is ok ? any one face this ??

I prepare 5M NaCl as follows.
1. Weigh out 29.2 g of sodium chloride and add to a 100 mL Duran bottle.
2. Measure out 80 mL of MilliQ water and add to the Duran bottle.
3. Dissolve the sodium chloride by adding a magnetic flea into the bottle and placing on a magnetic stirrer. It may take a few minutes to fully dissolve.
4. Then top up the solution to 100 mL with MilliQ water.
Did you prepare 5M NaCl using the above steps?

actually i add the total volume directly with NaCl on the magnetic stirrer 😑

hi, try to mix the solution on the hot plate and using the magnetic bar for 30 minutes.
