Hi, I am planning to make microsomes and wondering what components I should be adding to my 0.25M sucrose. I am being mindful that different additives can influence my microsome activity, which is why I want to understand the purpose of each component. I understand why protease inhibitor and glycerol are being added, but why 0.1M Tris? And why add EDTA too?
Can anyone help to enlighten me on this?
