Hello every scientific explorers!!
Recently, I have been interested in Interferometric Scattering (iSCAT) microscopy, the scattering-based imaging microscopy.
One of the problems I am facing is the effective magnification of the image detected by the camera.
In both papers, they use f = 1000 mm, f = 500 mm imaging lens with 100X 1.4NA objective in detection pathway and the effective magnification becomes 500X , 300X, respectively.
All I know for magnification is using two or more different focal length lenses.
Can you tell me why using just one lens can affects magnification of the image??
Thank you!
