I used the Flp-InTM T-RExTM System to stably transfect 293T cells so that my gene of interest is inducibly expressed by tetracycline. I want to transiently transfect with a luciferase reporter minigene so i can look at the effect of expression of my inducible gene on the expression of the minigene. But my cells die after transfection (using metafectene). Any tips?

If you have cells that needs to be induced by tetracycline it is a good idea to use a Tetracycline free FBS. I had troubles with stably expressed cell line that were induced with tet changing to a tet free system did wonders.
