I agree, secoiridoids by themselves may be light enough to volatilize and be analyzed with GCMS, but if you have the glucosides, then these are bigger, less volatile molecules. Try LCMS. Or if GC is your only option, you may try to hydrolize first the glucosides.
Yes it is possible , firstly you check the volatility of compound, it is volatile no problem for analysis in GC, and GCMS but its show less volatility then you have to go for LCMS and HPLC
There are also B-glucuronidase enzymes that can be used to cut the gluc first and to analyzed the secoiridoids after: look in sigma-aldrich, we do the reaction at pH 6.9 (phosphate buffer in H2O) - 50 C - 1h. Liquid-liquid extraction with org. solvant.
