I'm growing a 1.1B4 beta cells for treatment with multiple proteins.
I seeded the cells in a 96 well plate prior to ELISA preparation, alternatively I seeded rest of the cells in a flask with the exact same conditions and medium.
However, the next day I found the cells as seen in the attached photo, adhered, while the flask cells were all normal.
What could've been the reason for that? and are they dead yet?
Dear Mohammad,
There can be two possible reasons for this.
1. Your cell number is too high as I can see from the well.
2. Your cells in 96 well have undergone some stress like any cold treatment or CO2 stress or any other which you are not aware of.
Please seed your cells again at low density and change the media next day (Don't keep cells too long resuspended and plate them asap).
