Why and how there is a difference in cell debris in 96 wells plate and 12 wells plate (IC50 Vs Scratch assay) with same dose concentration?

Hello comrades! I observed visible cell death (Hepg2 cells) in 96 wells plate at 400ug/mL when doing IC50 test of a certain chemical, but I didn't observed cell debris of same compound at same dose while performing scratch assay in 12 wells plate. Please share your expertise. Thanking you in anticipation.
