I am trying to measure telomere length in an ant species using the TRF method, which is a Southern blot technique. Currently, I am struggling with analyzing the images and would appreciate any tips and suggestions on how to statistically analyze my data.

You can measure the intensity of the bands with ImageJ.

Cheng-Lei Tian Thank you Cheng-Lei for the suggestion; I tried to use Telotool and followed the manual, but I would get a very low Fit percentage.
I am not entirely sure what I am doing wrong; Is it my imaging technique or something else?
Do you have any tips on how to image because I tried x-ray and the machines as well, but I do not get results that make sense.
