I am trying to standardize exosome isolation protocol and want to run a western blot to detect TSG101. Currently, our company does not have a Tris-glycine based system and have been using MOPS buffer for most of their buffers. I have previously used the Tris-Glycine system and was able to detect good bands for TSG101. I want to know if MOPS running buffer can also be used for detecting TSG101 or is the Tris-glycine-SDS buffer more preferred? Any suggestions would be hugely helpful!
