Will you please discuss which author is more important either first author or corresponding author. How the ranking of other author is placed: first author, second author .....last author.
Does making senior author as a corresponding author makes publication easy?
They usually are the same, but if not, the first author is most important :)
The first author is the more important. Being a corresponding author is not a merit. But I always see the first author as the corresponding author.
First author will always be listed when articles are cited. Senior author at the end may be cut off for sake of shortening of the author list.

Some journals follow alphabetical list of authors for an article and some follow order by contribution level. In India, more weight is being given to first author (as per API, first author receives 70% of point for a co-authored article) but western countries, they don't want differentiate.
It is a suggested way to list authors from most physical activity and less scientific and critical support to the most scientific support. Also first author known as the research conductor and corresponding author recognized as the one who is in charge for any benefits like patent contract or more. Senior authors may not included for their physical activity but for their scientific support.

The decision who is the corresponding author is a matter of convenience, it does not have to be the first author, and it does not have to be the less important researcher. The order of authors in a collaborative paper depends on the discipline. In mathematics, for instance, it is mostly by alphabetical order.In several disciplines papers that are based on some thesis, the first author could be the adviser to that thesis, and so on.

I just understood bGenerally first author is more important except mathematics. In Mathematics authors are selected from alphabetical order. Author starting from letter 'a' seems lucky in mathematical related journal.
Do not jump more than you need, finally you have to fall in the same ground: secret of happiness.
