which one is better for self-cleaning glass for windows technology hydrophilic or hydrophobic as TiO2 photocatalytic ?
by the way all self-cleaning glass as windows in the market are hydrophilic I want the reason why hydrophilic is preferred over others.
@ Reham, definitely hydrophilic is better because when the glass is wet by rain or other water, hydrophilicity reduces contact angles to very low values, causing the water to form a thin layer rather than droplets, and this layer washes dirt away.
