I want to extract DNA from dolphin mucle. I used modified SDS protocol for this extraction. But dolphin has high fat content that interferes the method. Is there any customized method that I can specifically use for fatty fishes or marine fishes? I extracted DNA using kits as well but the result is not satisfactory.
