I'm trying to get better pictures of yeast mitochondria and the facility I have access to has a choice of spinning disk, Olympus FV1000 MPE, Olympus FV1000 - two photon, and Leica SP8 MP. I think Leica is a better fit, is it?
Yes. You want a high NA (highly resolving) 60X oil immersion objective and standard fluorescence imaging. Leica SP8 is what you want for this application, not a 2 photon system.
