Immunofluorescence on PFA-fixed tissue
Hello,
I usually use Iba1 (Wako) to measure microgliosis. You can also use GFAP to measure astrogliosis. In both cases, you should analyse integrated density or mean grey value of a specific ROI.
Hi Mickael Pereira
1. Microglia activation and Phagocytotic Property- IBA1+CD-68
2. Astrocyte activation- GFAP and Aquaporin-4
3. IL-1B, TNF-a, COX-2, IL-6 (Inflammatory markers released due to glial cells activation or neuroinflammation).
Thanks,
Hi Mickael Pereira, I usually use CD64'CD68'CD32 and CD11b to in both cases and agree with Louis-Chales Beland
Thank you all for your responses.
It was a great help
Thank you again
Surely they will want to avoid contact with air/moisture, so what is the procedure for this?
