I have an ordinal dataset on the scale of 1 to 5 based on household surveys about the intensity of agreement (5 being strongly agreed to 1 being strongly disagreed) of residents about certain aspects. Due to the limitations of the ordinal dataset, I want to convert the ordinal numbers to fuzzy numbers and perform PCA to reduce and group the variables for more meaningful data analysis.
Which fuzzification technique will be helpful for ordinal data? Which software do you think will be helpful? Any viewpoints or reference to help me with my data analysis is welcome.

Prefer using a boolean value in the 5 scales and use any clustering/classification algorithm
