It looks like you have some surface damage and OPS leftover on the surface. Do you see the Kikuchi patterns clearly when you check a point on the sample?
Disclaimer - I am not an EBSD expert.
Are you getting clear patterns during EBSD? If yes, you should be able to use the patterns to identify the phase. Is AlSi10Mg in your EBSD library of phases? It might not be.
If not, I suppose your polishing is not good enough. I usually polish with 1-um diamond slurry but I am not trying to do EBSD. It leaves substantial plastic deformation on the microscopic level and that prevents getting a good EBSD pattern. I know many people use colloidal silica for hours on a vibratory polisher to get rid of the deformation.
