In this project we are trying to examine whether the biomarker CRP level is an independent predictor of the neurological outcome in patients with primary intracerebral haemorrhage.
Therefore I would like to know the best assessment method for CRP level which I can use for my study.
Its available as Kits in many Makes. However , you might want to go with sandwich ELISA for best specificity.
Hi Shubhan, Since you work at AIMS i feel instead of ELISA you can try Siemens dade behring instrument. The assay is cheaper compared to ELISA, takes less time, completely automated and you don't have to establish in-house control range as most of the hospitals do it as services and they usually establish their own range. Also if your sample size is small like 300 to 400 you can complete the work in one to two days.
