The experiment i have decided to conduct is as follows:
I want to overexpress luciferase in certain cancer cell - lines. After transient transfection, i then intend to overexpress Hsp90 in those same cells ( co-expression) and check how these cells behave in heat stress and measure luciferase activity and then follow it up with certain inhibitors the same.
I want to know which cell lines could i use for test and control. These cell lines should be such that upon overexpression of either or both Luciferase and Hsp90, there is no up/down regulation or aberration of any other protein or pathway inside the cell, similar how we do it in bacterial cells...I need some suggestions.
