Which assays can be used to fraction low concentration protein?

We want to fraction the protein components in our sample based on the molecular weight .But unfortunately the total protein concentration is low (20microgram/mL),so it is difficult to use gel filtration method .Do you know any assay to fraction our sample in such a low concentration? Thank you in advance for your comments
