I am formulating an herbal topical cream for nerve pain. Herbal extracts and essential oils with traditional use and formal data support are included. I wanted to include a B-complex for nerve health (I know that dietary B vitamins are the most effective but as this project is topical-only, I wanted to include it with the aim that it would have some additive action to the botanicals). However, I am not sure how dosing works topically. If I have a 1 ounce cream, how many Mg of B complex liquid would I add?

I am still in the trial stages, I may not end up including it at all but I want to make one with B complex and one without it and compare to see if there is any significant difference in the analgesic effects of both topicals.
