I am looking for a triol to use as an initiator for polymerisation on PLA, PGA, PCL etc. I have previously used TMP - Trimethylolpropane, but it has now been reclassified as toxic so is no longer an option. Are there any other commercially available triols on the market? The material would need to have the same functionality on all the OH groups, i.e. all primary or all secondary to ensure that the polymer chains grow the same way.
