When do the transduced cells reverted back to S1/P1 if at al?

We are working on virapower with plenti6 from invitrogen from company manual they say its really one of the safest formats of lenti viral mediated gene delivery. Do we have any published document mentioning after how many days or passages the transduced cells are considered P1/S1 if at all? Thank you for your help.

Hello Goutam, by P1/S1 you mean the biosafety level requirement? There is no simple answer as it depends on the virus, the transgene and the host as well. You can test for the presence of replication competent viruses in the supernatant of the transduced cells, for details pls see this article for example:
