I'm looking for information on those specifically those found in Dendrobates, however it seems the knowledge and research isolated to that genus is limited.
I have found contradictory information as to what will sanitize porous surfaces most effectively. I'm really interested in what solutions will prevent the eggs from developing when treated outside the host as a means to prevent reinfection from surfaces such as terrarium wood and rocks.
Some suggestions I have found are a 20 minutes submersion in 3% hydrogen peroxide to kill larvae and adults, 91% isopropyl alcohol, or a veterinary kennel cleaner named "Rescue"- which is only rates for non porous surfaces. Nothing about disabling the eggs themselves though!
Are there any other suggestions or inputs from those experienced with strongyles in Dendrobates or other species?
